We were thrilled to be invited to take part in Cort Party Rentals’ Grand opening of their new warehouse space last week! The overall all theme was rustic glam and the folks at Cort wanted to know how we could enhance and expand on this theme using lighting. The room in question would be their Large tent (66′ x 66′) with a beautiful sunken wooden floor and a raised stage for the band the Beatniks. We were up for the challenge and brimming with ideas. We opted for dynamic uplighting complimented by our exclusive Edison Chandeliers and, to top it off we included our exclusive wooden geometric SnapDrop backdrop illuminated with light.
As you can see, the results were fantastic. To create the rustic glam feel, add light, and really make the room pop, we programmed an array of warm colors to slowly rotate around the room highlighting the wood tones of the custom sunken wooden floor and railings Cort installed. We also included in the programming the wash lights for the band which, were complimented by the warm candlelight hues radiating from our three custom made Edison chandeliers.
The final piece of this rustic glam puzzle was the geometric wooden SnapDrop backdrop for the band. The warm uplighting, paired with the wood grain of the backdrop beautifully, making it the perfect compliment to the overall theme within the tent. We wanted Cort to have the best open house ever so, we provided additional lighting for the signage that Cort used to guide their guest on the tour of the new facility and, we added splashes of Cort red color for a more dramatic effect.
