We want to give a big Thank You to Wendy Wojcik – http://weddingswithwendy.com/ – for inviting us to take part in Richard and Maureen’s wedding at the Golf Club at Newcastle last week. We met with Maureen to discuss her vision and she said she wanted the lighting to look like a Disney princess’s wedding with a focus on purple and pink. We said, “No problem!”
To achieve the overall pink and purple look in the Saint Andrews ballroom we placed wireless LED uplights around the perimeter of the room with a focus on the sweetheart table backdrop. We programmed a subtle pink to purple color wave that slowly circled the room. Beautiful!

The flowers for the wedding we absolutely gorgeous so we added battery powered, dimmable pin-spot detail lighting to all of the table centerpieces. After all, if you are going to spend all that money on your flowers they should get the attention they deserve!
To add energy to the dance floor, without turning it into a rave, we added 2 moving head fixtures on illuminated totems. We programmed the lights to scan the room with on-theme textures and colors.

As a last minute addition we noticed that Richard and Maureen’s ice sculpture came with a green light underneath. This was not really inline with the theme so we added 2 of our wireless, battery powered, full color LED wash lights to give it some beautiful pink and purple highlights. Since they are LED there was no extra heat that could affect the ice!
